Society is rife with long-standing problems, including limited access to mental health resources, obesity, substance abuse, bullying, inequality, discrimination, and poverty.
The RTF is helping to marshal the Tech industry’s knowledge, problem solving abilities, and innovative technologies to meaningfully move the needle on the creation of solutions to some of these persistent challenges.
The mission of the RTF is to foster the collaborative application of member developed technologies and skill-sets for the benefit of society. Our primary goals:
Amplifying and making real the promise that tech can do good and be profitable.
Harnessing and directing tech's penchant for innovative problem solving to improve the resilience of communities.
The RTF’s initial focus is on self-harm and grew from the 2-Dooz and Veterans Administration (VA) effort to use technology to improve suicide prevention efforts among military vets.
Tech is renowned for innovative problem solving. The RTF harnesses this capability to increase the resilience of the communities that our member companies reside.
Our belief is that stronger communities lead to healthier customers, which leads to increased sales and profits, and which in-turn benefit investors, employees, and customers in a virtuous circle.
